Preamble to Module 6: Teaching the Methods

In this module you will learn about teaching the methods.

We will be reviewing the types of presentations and the basic structure of any presentation.

You will also learn how to prepare for a seminar along with organizing and teaching classes.

We will give you the outline for teaching a 10-week class on Radical Forgiveness, which is one of your required activities.

You will also view several presentation pieces. You’ll practice them, recording and posting 3 of them to the Radical Forgiveness Facebook page.

● It is recommended you download and/or view all training resources. (Links to these resources are on this page in the Materials Section)

● View all of the Videos (Links are in the Lessons).

● Complete all Tasks/Activities.

● Complete the Assessment and email it to your mentor. (Instructions on how to do this are on the provided Assessment page.)

● Once you have completed all of these steps, you will be able to move on to the next module.

Tasks/Activities

1. Watch videos 1 – 7.
2. Set up, recruit, and begin a 10-Week Class. You will not be able to proceed to Module 7 until you have the class started and underway with no less than 5 paying clients in the class. In Module 20, you will submit a report on the class and get three testimonials from the group.
3. Submit a report about your 10-Week Class that includes the dates of each class, location, what you are charging, names of participants, and their email addresses. You will not be able to proceed any further in the training until this report is submitted. (Report will be on the Assessment page in Lesson 6.)
4. Practice and film three presentations of your choice to do for assessment. You will be uploading them as part of this modules assessment.

Assessment

Record three presentations on video and post them to the private Facebook group for Coaches and Trainees ( the link is in the Materials section above). Do them just as Colin has in the demonstration videos in this module.

The Module 6 – Report page will give you instructions on how to post the video. Also let your mentor know via email that your videos have been posted and complete the Activity Report to move on.

When you have finished this module, there will be a greenish grey button at the bottom of the page that says, “Click to Complete.” Clicking that button will automatically take you to the next module.
